WEBINAR - The case for putting the terms ‘longevity’ and ‘age’ into your wellbeing strategy
29 June 2023
A 30-minute webinar during World Wellbeing Week, with guest speaker John Kiernan, Employer Engagement and Network Manager at the Centre for Ageing Better
About this event
The workforce is ageing at a rapid rate. By 2025, around 25% of workers in the UK will be over the age of 55. And the last Budget made clear that the UK government is trying to incentivise the over 50s to get back to – or stay in – work. In this webinar, we learn from John Kiernan of the Centre for Ageing Better, a UK charity, about what employers can do to retain this valuable cohort.
Register today, to:
- Understand the current pressures facing employers and their over 50s workers, with regard to recruitment, culture and health
- Explore what ‘good’ support looks like, with a look at the charity’s Age-Friendly Employer Pledge, 5 guiding principles and best practice examples
- Discover top tips and takeaways to help you get started on ensuring your wellbeing strategy is age inclusive
