Generali Global Corporate and Commercial (GC&C) provides experienced Loss Control Engineering (LCE) expertise in property, casualty and engineering lines of business. Globally, GC&C LCE comprises of over 100 risk engineers that provide direct coverage in 35 countries through defined network areas. The UK, US, Turkey, Dubai and Israel form one of these network areas, utilising experienced engineers located in London and locally to meet risk engineering requirements.
Who we are?
The UK LCE team consists of chemical, mechanical and civil engineers, providing competent insurance and specific industry experience. This ensures Generali LCE provides relevant and credible guidance on risk identification and mitigation, whether for property (property damage, machinery breakdown and business interruption exposure), Casualty (third party liability, product liability and product recall) or Engineering (construction, erection or delay in start-up) exposure. Our dedicated engineers will promote extensive industry and insurance experience resulting in the overall competency that is acknowledge and respected by our clients.
What we do?
LCE services in the UK are focused on increasing the insured’s awareness of relevant topics, which is achieved through survey visits and associated risk improvement recommendations where identified to be necessary. Technical reviews of active and passive fire protection, security and business continuity planning additionally provide our insured’s with the knowledge to achieve effective loss mitigation, through prevention and post loss actions.
