Webinar - Parent and child mental health support: A workplace essential?

A 40-min webinar for HR and Line Managers, in partnership with Teladoc Health.

Webinar - Parent and child mental health support: A workplace essential?

About this event

Untreated mental health problems during childhood or adolescence can lead to a multitude of problems in adulthood; from impaired mental health and lower life satisfaction, to poorer health-related quality of life.*

Access to appropriate support in childhood could reduce mental health problems in the early years, minimising and even preventing developmental outcomes in adulthood.*

Colin Preece, Clinical Head of Mental Health, and Alessandra Sorrentino-Lawrence, Clinical Psychologist, join us to:

  • Explore the ways in which untreated mental health problems in childhood and adolescence can affect adulthood.
  • Discuss the impact on parents of a child with mental health problems.
  • Share, through Generali UK’s Group Income Protection claims experience – along with Teladoc Health’s support service experience – the impact on employees and employers.
  • Learn how to ensure employees are aware of, and accessing, relevant support that is probably already available to them via their workplace benefits.
