Wellbeing Communications Calendar

Together with our Wellbeing Investment Matching partners and Early Intervention partners, we’ve designed and collated a vast range of wellbeing communication material in line with the key national and international health awareness events.

Some highlights include:

  • Loneliness Awareness Week: A webinar on 6 June focused on ‘How to best support employees dealing with grief’, with our early intervention and rehabilitation expert Kay Needle and claims assessor Dan Johnson.

  • World Wellbeing Week: A new and interesting take on sickness absence management – examining the role of health behaviour – in this #Wellbeing360 podcast, due for release w/c 24 June, from Kay Needle and Working To Wellbeing’s Dr Julie Denning.

  • Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month: We welcome back Professor Gordon Wishart of Check4Cancer for a webinar, on 24 Sept, entitled ‘Cervical cancer screening: The vital role for employers’ asking why don’t all women take up nationwide screening? And what’s the alternative?

  • Plus, articles, videos, webinars and workshops in line with key events on the wellbeing calendar, from International Men’s Health Week and Autistic Pride Day, to Alcohol Awareness Week, Youth Mental Health Day and UK Savings Week.

Many of the workshops and training courses in our wellbeing calendar are completely free of charge. Any employers interested in cost option workshops or training courses provided by our wellbeing partners, should talk to us about Wellbeing Investment Matching - an initiative by Generali UK to help companies partly or fully fund a wellbeing initiative where a specific need is identified.
